The Central Pacific Region of Costa Rica is home to some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in the world. Featuring impressive cliffs that rise high above the coastlines and and tropical vegetation, it’s no wonder that this unique travel destination has become one of the country’s most sought-after places to visit.
For the month of February, one of our Yogi Surprise members will win an incredible 8 day, 7 night yoga retreat in Costa Rica featuring daily Vagabond Vinyasa classes. Our winner will stay at the stunning Alma de Hatillo Bed and Breakfast, located on the Central Pacific Coast at the south end of the village of Hatillo, just a short drive away from a variety of attractions including the surfing town of Dominical, a National Wildlife Refuge, and a spectacular 10-kilometer beach.
Vagabond Vinyasa yoga is a style of yoga that puts the focus on being carefree and unleashing your deeper sense of creativity. Rather than sticking to a more structured formula, yogis are encouraged to get more creative with their movement in ways that inspire them to really tap into their inner spirit.
The yoga platform at Alma de Hatillo is situated on the edge of the forest right across from a beautiful brook. Yoga classes will be held each day in the late morning, with every day’s class specially designed to focus on something different.
On day one, you’ll celebrate May Day and the New Moon before moving on to focus your practice on the journey (as opposed to the the cool Instagram photo you want to post of your best asana) during day two. Find peace in stillness on day three, locate your centrer on day four, practice on the beach on day five, take risks on day six and finally to end an amazing week, you’ll be invited to a closing ceremony practice on day seven that will keep you inspired long after the retreat is over.
Here are all the amenities you’ll enjoy as the winner of this retreat:
- Three daily meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Daily Vagabond Vinyasa yoga classes
- Optional activities including property tours, trails, horseback riding, whale watching, and kayaking
- Transportation to and from Juan Santamaria International Airport
As the winner of this retreat, you’ll join yoga teacher and “awesomist” Mia Michelle Marie along with other participating yogis at Alma de Hatillo from May 1st to May 8th, 2017, where you’ll embark on an exciting journey that takes you deeper into nature and of course deeper within yourself as well. Yogis who are looking to bring a little creative inspiration to their practice won’t want to miss this.
